For nearly three decades, I have been serving individuals who are navigating trauma, loss, and life’s most difficult transitions. My work as a traumatologist, counsellor, and pastor has allowed me to support people during moments when they may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or searching for meaning and direction.
I believe that every person deserves the opportunity to be heard and supported during times of hardship. Experiences such as serious illness, grief, and personal trauma can leave individuals feeling isolated or unsure of how to move forward. My role is to create a space where people feel safe to speak openly, reflect honestly, and begin working through the challenges they face.
Throughout my career, I have walked alongside many individuals as they process complex emotional experiences and rediscover their resilience. My approach combines professional trauma-informed counselling with pastoral care, allowing me to support clients both practically and compassionately as they work toward healing.
When life brings moments that feel overwhelming, it can help to have someone who will simply stand with you and listen. I believe that healing begins in an environment of trust, respect, and understanding, where each person is given the time and space they need to move forward.
My aim is to support people as they find strength, clarity, and renewed hope, and to remind them that they do not have to face difficult seasons alone.

“As every single human being I have ever met has a unique journey through life, so does every single human being deserve a chance at healing. No two people has the same trauma, pain, rejection or possibly debilitating mental health challenges as the next one.
Therefore, I firmly believe in building a strong foundation of trust, intense compassion and creating a safe space for all my clients, to help them unlock the vast potential of healing and overcoming trauma. This ‘will to survive and heal’ is found in the resilient spirit of most people. Sometimes we all loose our way; we do not need to stay stuck in trauma.
I have been involved with therapy and counselling for the past two decades, under the mentorship of the late Prof. Vollie Spies, and strongly believe that healing is always possible.
When I started out years ago, my main focus was on Adult Survivors of sexual abuse, but as the years progressed, I developed major compassion not just for betrayed spouses but also for the partners of a marriage that suffers from pornography addiction.
Sexual abuse in children oftentimes only manifests fully when a victim enters a committed relationship as an adult, with far reaching consequences causing complex trauma, PTSD or complete emotional withdrawal. I have intense compassion for victims of these heinous crimes, that often takes place within a family unit, and love creating a completely safe and secure space to assist clients to go from victim to survivor, to finding their own voices again and conquering their past.
As core relationships - such as marriage partners, parent-children - are in my opinion the building blocks of a healthy society, I specialize in the following areas:
-Adult survivors of sexual abuse
-Betrayal trauma in marriages
-Marriage counselling
-Individual therapy
All people want to be heard, understood and share their deepest pain in a safe, non-judgemental and empathic environment.
I firmly believe every single human being deserves to live at their full potential.
I would love to help you unlock that potential.
